Come & join the festivities of the annual on Friday, September 14th, Fiestas Patrias celebrating Mexico's independence from Spain. This year's theme «Baja California» will recognize the culture & crafts, music & dance of the region.
Fiestas Patrias will be held at the Town Center Plaza located at 11740 E. Telegraph Rd. starting at 6:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. The event will feature various live mariachi bands, folklorico dancers, Mexican food, a beer garden and game booths. The evening's festivities will commence with the traditional «grito» or shout to ring in the day of independence & feature two-time Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas.
A special shuttle service will be provided — free of charge from Los Nietos Park.
Fiestas Patrias provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a City tradition & an opportunity for residents to support the many local organizations, clubs, and non-profit agencies that make a difference every day!
