WCCW is excited to announce its fourth Emergency Health Grant for artists!

For help with your application, sign up for a 20 minute private session with a writer who can help with your specific grant application. Please bring your grant materials as close to complete as possible and have specific questions in mind. Reservations for the private sessions must be made ahead of time. RSVP for a one-on-one writing assistance session by Thursday, March 21.

ABOUT EMERGENCY HEALTH GRANT FOR ARTISTS

To apply for up to $3,000 in emergency health care funds, artists must live in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino or Riverside Counties; identify as female, trans, non-binary, low income, and/or as a person of color; and have a medical, mental health or dental emergency OR have an illness-related financial need. Deadline to apply is April 7, 2019, 11:59pm.

+ Wednesday, March 13, 7-9pm at Women’s Center for Creative Work
+ Monday, March 25, 7-9pm at Self Help Graphics & Art with Mujeres de Maiz
+ Saturday, March 30, 10am-12pm at KRST Unity Center (of AfRaKan Spiritual Science) with Cori Alegria
+ Monday, April 1, 6-8pm at JACCC with Sustainable Little Tokyo
+ Saturday, April 6, 1-5pm (by appt.) at Women’s Center for Creative Work

— Accessibility: WCCW has a 36” wide ramp at our front entrance and a stairway with 8 steps and a rail. There are 2 gender neutral restrooms. One restroom is wheelchair accessible, with a handrail. We provide scent free soaps and encourage guests to attend our events scent free. If you require ASL interpretation, CART, interpretation for a language other than English, supervised childcare, or have any other access needs or questions, please contact [email protected] at least two weeks in advance. It is our practice to do everything we can to create a safe and accessible space.
